Based on the book A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle, this piece continues an exploration of the surrealist exquisite-corpse text cut-up: an existing work of literature is rewritten word by word, with every word followed by one that might appear after it in the original text.
In the book, the characters travel by ‘wrinkling time’ through a kind of wormhole referred to as a tesseract.
“The fifth dimension’s a tesseract. You add that to the other four dimensions and you can travel through space without having to go the long way around.
