Live online artist residencies with Furtherfield.org
Launched in 2003, FurtherStudio operated as a distributed online artist-residency space. Artists remained at home or in their studios while visitors observed work developing on their computer desktops, spoke with them in real time and joined public critical discussions. The project was conceived and coordinated by Furtherfield founders Marc Garrett and Ruth Catlow, with programming and design by Neil Jenkins; residents included Jess Loseby, Rich White and replic**t.
